what receiver to buy?

Hello,great forum lots of info,i'm looking for a receiver that will pick up
spanish channels from mexico like Azteca 7 Azteca 13 or maybe Televisa
channels,any of these FTA channels? which receiver will be best for any
of these channels? type of lnb type of dish, my zip code is 79720. i'm
in Texas,,thank you in advance

You will need at least a 30" dish and linear Ku LNBF!

There are LOADS of Spannish speaking channels on FTA (Maybe more than English)

Azteca 7 and 13 are FTA on the IA-6 satellite right now!

C-Band has 4 digit Freq. (6' dish)

Ku-Band has a 5 digit Freq. (30" dish)

there are a lot of receivers , there are several over in the review section, they have pictures and show how the onscreen works, they lists some good things and bad , so before you venture out and get one read a few reviews.

Motorized FTA System: If you are a satellite enthusiast and want to receive more channels, then a motorized FTA satellite system like the M-1 system is a good choice for you. The difference between the M-1 and the S-1 system is that the M-1 includes a motor that allows you to move the dish East/West to track more satellites. The motorized system is little more challenging to install as it takes more accuracy to align the dish.
