If not that, it is a secret message that when decoded says check red light for further information! It is either alien trying to communicate with us in first contact or a blind person communicating in Braille. Either way it is annoying.
That’s funny, I just did the translation as well. Nonsensical…From Braille it says (for)uuuuo(gh)(ed)(gh)h(gh)uuho(gh)(ed)(ed)u(for).
Just sayin'.
It is either alien trying to communicate with us in first contact or a blind person communicating in Braille. Either way it is annoying.
I watched this series on METV a few years back for the first time. The Invaders have finally arrived.
I don't think it's the TV.This gets weirder and weirder. From this and the other thread we've learned:
- It's not isolated to just one provider or channel
- If you record the program, it's not there on playback, meaning it's independent of the video stream somehow
Do these receivers or possibly the TV itself have some kind of function in them that would receive text from somewhere and display it on the screen? Maybe something like an emergency broadcast or advertising platform in the TV that's malfunctioning?
I still think low fuel level from one of the birds. Or maybe, it's 129 looking for Charlie!!It’s an alien society saying hello to us.
You're kidding, I watched it when it first came out. That's why I thought of it. It was a good series. It's been on MeTV in the early mornings for a long long time.I watched this series on METV a few years back for the first time.
So, it’s not just Dish. Has this same behavior been reported on DirecTV or a different cable provider?Yesterday, I was in the surgery waiting room at our local hospital. On HGTV, the graphic in question popped up in the top left portion of the screen several times in the two hours I was there. The hospital is on Spectrum cable.
It was reported to be seen on Spectrum as well.Does it show up before (or during) a commercial break?
6 dots allows for 64 possible characters, or 36 Alpha and Numeric characters and 28 commands, or 52 upper- and lower-case Alpha characters, ten Numeric characters, and two commands. I count 16 distinct codes between the 3F blocks at the start and the end.
However, the dot pattern is the same between the two examples posted, which seems to eliminate a message addressed to play different Ads stored on the Local Receiver.

I haven’t not seen anything like this on our 4K Joey or Hopper 3, but then we may not be watching the right channels.
I was a little boy when this show was on and we watched Lost in Space when I was like 4 or 5. I vividly remember My dad liked Star Trek and bought a $1000 19" color console tv back then, because he wanted to see it in color. He told the salesman if you can have it installed in my home in time for Star trek I'll buy it. They could and my dad used credit to buy it. My parents didn't watch Invaders show back then or they did and I was already in bed by then. You're kidding, I watched it when it first came out. That's why I thought of it. It was a good series.
