I installed a HR20 today and when watching the SD channels everything was AOK but when go to a HD channel it would pop and pop on the sound....is that an HDMI problem?

Try a connection other than the HDWI and see how it works. That might answer your guestion.

yeah i told the customer to do that, but he wanted the one cable solution, so i guess he is getting DTV to send him a new HR20
