What info to shut off a unit?

I moved a while back and never got around to hooking up my 3rd reciever. We haven't missed it at all and I figure it's time I pull it to save the 5 bucks a month (actually I might pay and extra 5 and bump up to the next service level... heheheh).

Anyway... the unit hasn't been hooked up for a while and I'd rather not hassle doing so. Is it just the number off the card they need, or am I going to have to connect this thing up and get other info off of it in order to remove it from my account?

They only ask for the S00 and R00 number. You can hit Menu twice to get to the Sys Info and you can get the S00 and R00 from there.

S00 is on the smart card and the R00 is on the back of the receiver.

The screen info screen will work if unit is plugged in. Shouldn't have to wire it up.

Like Bob said if you don't want to connect it, just get the R00 on the back of the receiver and the S00 from the smart card. If you still have the box, the R00 and S00 numbers are on stickers in the outside of the box.

If you don't have more than one of a model its easier, I just ask them to turn my "301" on or off depending on if I'm using it or not.
