The way the chord is coiled up. the lack of a plastic cover over the plug and the tape job on the anti-static bags are give-awaysHow is it you can tell a new one to a refurbished one, I forgot? Something to do with the way it is wrapped, right?
OK, thanks. I did not know there is an "R" after the model number. The way the chord is coiled up. the lack of a plastic cover over the plug and the tape job on the anti-static bags are give-aways

Ohh yeah! Refurb doesn't mean anythingSo do you still have to pay out of pocket for the upgrade if you end up with a refurb?
Comcast already does, you no longer need a box, so no box fees, but you do have Broadcast Fees, local sports fees, DVR fees, franchise fees, local tax fees and whatever we want to charge you fees.
These fees is what keeps me away from all live pay TV, if they want to charge me extra for certain channels that they include in the package advertisement, they should give me the option of not having them to avoid the fees.

If only my 3 year old Samsung 4K 65” smart tv had a xfinity app, which is not available. Here in southern Indiana we require a box.
Buy a Roku then, app is right there.

If you are buying it, they need to disclose new or reman. For a lease, it doesn't matter.
