and other non-hd movie channels? I haven't been able to find a single movie broadcast in DD 5.1 for over a month........everything is just stereo.

same here on my hbo sd.. its passing dd from the 622 to the audio reciver. could your audio reciver be setup for stereo only?
That is what I am trying to decide............but I am talking about the sd versions. I have not been able to find a movie that is being broadcast in DD 5.1 for approximately a month. I am only going by the information guide. Even this past weekend on the free preview of HBO, I could not find a movie that was being broadcast in DD 5.1 according to the guide. I have some movies that are recorded on my 625 that show DD in the information guide.
