What happens when equipment breaks for a grey subscriber?

If someone buys their equipment from kusat and uses TVM....then, the hard drive in the DVR fails......what happens? Is the only option to sell the DVR for parts and buy a new one?

I know it is possible to rplace a hard drive, but you have to have hack tools to do that.

ask your broker.. they may be able to do a hardware exchange (mail in jobbie) for a fee.. but other than that, your SOL

you might just have to buy a new unit and do a equipment swap
