I just looked up the channel frequencies and it looks like they only need G1 at this point. They are only using the lower band of G1 11.2 to 11.7 and the regular 11.7-12.2 on F2. They could move all of F2 over to G1 if they wanted to right now.
Thanks for posting - that makes sense.pacificrim In theory yes, but only if G1 had transponders in the regular band. G1 only has transponders in the lower band for North America. Anything in the regular Ku band is aimed at South America only. It is operating under temporary authority in the extended Ku band as well. There is no room to move all those F2 signals over to G1 and reach North America.
Hi there I am coming down to Mesa in December and I do not have a shaw account in Canada. Can I bring a new dish and receiver with me and open an account and activate my receiver with shaw while I'm in mesa az? ThanksThat dish and LNB is good for up in Canada. You'll need the new 75cm dish and 75cm xku lnb to match it. Bring that down to Mesa along with whatever receiver you have. I'm winter in Mesa. I'm not sure where you can get the equipment up here (maybe a ShawDirect installer).
I suggest you set your account and installation in Canada before you leave.Hi there I am coming down to Mesa in December and I do not have a shaw account in Canada. Can I bring a new dish and receiver with me and open an account and activate my receiver with shaw while I'm in mesa az? Thanks
