You probably could have "Refreshed " your recvr online and you would have been good.

Did they show an ext. number on those channels ?

I lose all my channels when I leave my secondary recvr unplugged when not using it.

It is possible - didn't think if that.

No ext number. It appeared the receivers thought all was well. The channels appeared in the guide, I could change to them, I even have recorded shows (though nothing but black). Being that it was only certain channels - unfortunately about the only ones I watch - and it was on all my receivers (HR/H24s) I strongly suspect it had to do with DirecTV making some channel or other configuration changes that left some things in an unusual state. I have read elsewhere of others experiencing similar problems that resulted from some channels being moved.
