What happened to The Dish Earth channel?

I dont think many people missed it. Took this long for some to notice that it was gone lol.

Thanks for the information on the previous post here on the site. I would like to think that Dish will take notice to all of the attention and think about adding a camera to their next "bird".

Actually many people missed it right away.. I have been gone "out of the country" for a while and just found it missing upon my return.

we missed it right away. it was interesting and I am sad its gone. it has been gone a good while now. hope they will find away to bring it back.

It was a great idea, executed badly. I think the next such camera should have better resolution and exposure control. We might even be able to see something that way.

Yeah, they flew all the way up to the satellite on their broom and took it off and sent it off into space...

More likely they flipped a switch and no more earth views from that satellite camera.
