It is a new Graphic User Interface for the Hopper 3 system. It will "soon" be available for the Hopper w/Sling (H2) and possibly for the original Hopper (H1) system. It has a new look and some new features.
You have a Hopper 3, do you not ? It's the interface that you see when you're using the receiver.
Are you the person who couldn't get Dish to activate your equipment for 2-3 weeks ?

Yes you don't want this UI.
There are many bugs.
Once a week I have to reboot a Hopper because of a total lockup.
Today it was my Master Bedroom.
Last week it was the Living room.
And the Black box on the screen also happens at random when exiting the guide.
Also the PTA can't be shared between Hoppers no longer which is a huge downfall IMO.
No bugs with the Joeys yet, But recording also sometimes brings slower then normal function.
Sometimes the Audio synchronization is off, the solution is to rewind a few seconds.
Lots of bugs.
Worst I've ever seen in Dish equipment.
And obviously dish knows it, because this UI would have been out months ago.
