I'm looking to move full bore into hd tv. I'm a long time D subscriber, but their menu of channels looks pretty week compared to the local tw cable at $11 a month. The sunday ticket will probably make the difference though. What I'm trying to determine is this the time to get an hd dish. I've read about the new sat launches this spring, but its hard to tell who will get the locals via sattellite. I've also read these sats will require new dishes. If Cincinnati is not going to get local hds from D*, do they provide and external OTA antenna at install?

for 50$ extra they install an ota antenna . and i would suspect cincinnati would get there hd locals before the year is out via the satellite . Yes you would need a new dish and no one is sure exactly how that is going to work at this time
