What do you do when there is no local retailer?

As everyone is aware, the distant network shutoff has begun. I received an email and phone call from dish saying they would upgrade my dish(es) for free to receive the locals. There is no retailer in my town and in many Alaska towns for that matter, there are always handymen around like myself that do it for a hobby. The problem is that when I call the CSR's, they keep telling me that I have to go through the local retailer and I can get no one to understand that there is none! They keep sending me to a town that is 100 miles away where there is a dealer. The only problem is that you can only get to this town by boat or airplane. I don't think that guy is going to boat up to my house! Does anyone else have this dilema and have found a work-a-round? I just want to get the free dish. I'll put it up, but !.2m dishes are not cheap. Thanks

Your first mistake is dealing with CSR's, use Tech Support instead.
