Oh yes, the Ray Kroc inspired uniforms.................those were B.R.U.T.A.L.

No wonder the team stunk until they got Winfield, Garvey, and Gwynn.

No wonder the team stunk until they got Winfield, Garvey, and Gwynn.

They were actually bad when Winfield was on the team (he became a Yankee before the 1981 season). However, Winfield was a great player on a bad team. He had Ozzie Smith and very little else on those Padres teams.
