What do I need to add another receiver to my setup?

I just moved and had Dish Network moved as well. I've got 3 DVRs (501, 622 & 722k) and I'd like to add a 510. There are 3 cables coming in from the dish...one goes to the 501 and the other two go to separators which feed the 4 inputs of the 622 & 722k. What do I need to connect the 510 to the same cables that the 622 & 722k are using? I've read that I can't just connect another separator. Would a DPP33 switch work? We're in the Midwest and getting 110, 119 & 129. Thanks.

Your would need a DPP 44 actually. The 33 has only 3 outputs and you need 4. Just install the 3 lines from the dish to the inputs on the switch and put the 510 on the first output. Behind the 510 you will need to install the power inserter that comes with the switch. Pretty simple.

I'd replace the 510 with a 625. Requires a little extra wiring, but it doesn't require any switchgear ($$$). Alternatively, if you aren't already distributing the ViP signals, you might try that.

I see. Unfortunately, the 501 is in a different room than the 622, 722 & 510. The only place the 3 lines meet is at the dish on the roof, and I'm physically unable to install a DPP44 up there. Is there any way to run the 622, 722k and 510 from just the 2 cables that now feed the 622 & 722K?

The 2 lines would only have information from 2 satellites so can you be happy without 110 or 119 or 129? You need to talk to DISH about your upgrade.

?

The lines run from the dish to the receivers. But if you know how to make a cable end (well). You could put the switch DPP44 in the house, basement, attic, where ever the three lines enter, from there you run the 4

Ah, but the OP has not 2 but 3 cables coming down from his (presumably) 1000.2. So he asked the wrong question. It is possible to run 4 receivers from 3 DPP cables like so:

1000.2 output port 1 ---> separator 1 ---> 722k or 622 (as now)
1000.2 output port 2 ---> separator 2 output 1 ---> 501
1000.2 output port 3 ---> separator 3 output 1 ---> 510

separator 2 output 2 ---> 622 or 722K TV1 input
separator 3 output 2 ---> 622 or 722k TV2 input

Unfortunately I see no way of doing this wiring if the OP can't physically get to the 3 cables coming from the Dish. Plus the room allocations are definitely not optimal. If he could move the 510 and 501 into the same room as the 722, and put the 622 off by itself, then this would work.
