I want to make up a portable 1000 dish with the tri-LNB. I only can run one coax from it to my receiver. What part do I need to hoot the LNB's up and have a single coax output?
Do you have a single 1000.2 LNB with three eyes or three individual LNBs on a W bracket? The 1000.2 LNB has four ports (1,2,3,Input) hook up coax line (RG-6) to port one. What kind of receiver do you have?
I was going to buy the 1000.2 dish to use as a mobile unit for my RV.
I have a VIP 622 receiver and it currently has a splitter thing with one coax in and two out to sat 1 and sat 2 on the receiver.
I have not purchase the 1000.2 setup yet but the one I looked at had the dish and a LNB with 4 connections. It is located here:
In the RV I will only have one coax coming to the receiver. Where on the 1000.2 dish do I connect this coax?
The splitter is actually a separator. Required for dual tuner receivers with one coax from the LNB. Connect to port one, then to the separator, then the two outputs of the separator to tuner 1 and tuner 2.
