I have two HR20s and a H10. If I converted from a WB68 to SWM, is there really any benefit besides having to run only one coax to each HR20 and being able to remove the BBCs? Reckon it's worth the trouble?

No real benefit other than single wire. It's the reason I switched myself over 15 months ago. I guess I could add more TV's now but three TV's for two people seems plenty.

the real advantage is for new installs or upgrades adding dvr's where there's pre-existing wiring (single feed) and the customer has a finished basement or other things preventing running new wire

Plus if you decide to get DECA for MRV down the road, SWM is a requirement...although DirecTV would do that for you when you had the DECA adapters installed....
