What causes this???

I haven’t been able to get this to work for months. Any ideas? I only have 1 Internet Connection.

The Directv app is at best glitchy. Try uninstalling and reinstalling it. I doubt it will help but it's worth a try.

So anytime you want to set your DVR you just do it at the set top box itself?

Pretty much, from the HR54 or the C61k client.

Yes. You need it to get 4k channels.

I believe you can also do that from the D* website, but I find it easier to do it right from the HR54 or C61K.

I quit trying to watch shows from the DVR on tablet of phone a long time ago, it rarely works.

I never leave home much so I guess it doesn’t matter. I’m always home to set the DVR LOL
