Lemme guess, measures 18" H x 22" W
You got ripped off at $23

I circled the one that You'd be aiming with for whatever E* bird.
The other two only pick up higher frequency transponders.

Going by the DirecTV multiswitch,
leaving 22kHz tone OFF, either 13V or 18V chooses the Left one going by the picture, LNBF between you and the Dish.
turning 22kHz tone ON, 18V chooses the Middle one
turning 22kHz tone ON, 13V chooses the Right one

yes it can. I've used one of those Phase III dishes for 119 for Nasa, Angel One etc

There are some threads where folks ghetto rigged a KU LNB on it dor some of the higher powered signals

I pulled off the LNB assembly, and mounted a regular LNB to get Whitesprings.
There are a few threads around here based on guys using little Phase III dishes like yours (and mine) as well as Dish 500's for the hotter FTA transponders.

The money wouldn't have been too much if you could have used it as-is.
However, anything that small is often found in dumpsters, or for free.
Don't beat yourself up about it. Wasn't all that bad! :)
edit:
As I recall, a friend found mine at a Salvation Army sort of store, new in the box, and paid $8 for it.
Then, he gave it to me. ;)
