What audio formats does DISH support these days?

Comedy Central on Dish is still central channel audio only even though all of their content is produced and transmitted in 5.1. Dish is either messing with the audio or are being given a feed that nobody else is and is too inattentive to notice.

Yep, you and I have been about the only members that have noticed and written about it...

I had audio issues with CC when I was on DirecTV too. Not sure if they still exist though.

Update to this. I'm currently giving Layer3 TV a go and can confirm the Comedy Central audio problem does not exist with them. I see that Comedy Central provides 2 eastern feeds, one on SES 11 and another on AMC 11 but I don't see why either of the feeds would have permanent sound problems and am still fairly certain that Dish is improperly processing the audio channel for Comedy Central.

Do you get 5.1 audio on Netflix from your Dish receiver(s)?

Nope. I've tried it via both HDMI and optical on my HWS and my Hopper 3. So, I just use Logic 7/Pro Logic like I'm stuck in 1992 or use my Xbox or FireStick.
