curious why you pay for protection plan? It was nice when they released hardware regularly, but these days there's nothing to upgrade to. if equip fails, they replace it free, so curious what the advantage is nowadays?

we did end up dropping the protection plan since it's not worth it since there's no new hardware coming out.
