WGMU My39 off the air?

I noticed this evening WGMU-TV Burlington, Vermont (G18) seems to be off the air..The Channel is blank at the moment, though my signal quality is at 40-45. No indication that the channel is scrambled at all..Just curious..

I noticed that too a couple hours ago maybe Rutland pulled the pug or the studios in Shelburne went on a major blackout or something there burned up. Wait and see what transpires. Nothing here says that it is scrambled yet. Signal is still good on the the frequency they were using.

"WMGU has discontinued its broadcast due to financial difficulties" is what appears on screen via Time Warner cable (channel 17) here in Northern NY.
As of 2PM -Sat. Feb 28 09 - your thread here is the only reference to this event on the interweb --

My local MNTV affiliate (KPDX) is currently not broadcasting OTA.

Hmmm..That tells me that not a lot of people are missing it..Or It just isnt big news at all, surprisingly enough. Maybe another station can plug into the transponder space eventually..

KPDX is the MyNetworkTV affiliate serving the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area. It broadcasts its analog signal on UHF channel 49, and its digital signal on UHF channel 48. In addition, it is seen on channel 13 on most local cable systems.
