Western Digital 2TB AV Hard Drive - Made for DVRs - WD20EVDS
Used approx 2 years on my DirecTV HR20, always worked perfectly. I have retired this HR20 receiver and replaced it with an HR34, but decided not to change the drive in the new receiver, thus this drive is for sale.
I tested it with a full drive scan using Western Digital's warranty test tool and it passed all tests. The 2TB drive took nearly two days to complete the test. This drive I'm selling was manufactured 9/8/2010 and is under warranty until 9/24/2013.
This drive is specially made for DVRs, for 24 hour use. It can be installed internally or externally if you add an eSATA case. Antec makes one that works great, the MX-1, I have used on Directv DVRs with no issues.
These drives have come down in price since the flooding in Thailand is no longer an issue. They are in the $125-$150 range new, but are still hard to find. I am asking $80 shipped via USPS Priority Mail.
It will ship in the factory original container with appropriate protection.
I ask that you pay via paypal with the gift option to eliminate the 3% fee.
