Well this was weird.

Eating breakfast about 3:30am or so and watching Forensic Files when all of a sudden the screen went black. Several seconds and, of course, the changing to streaming message popped up. Here's where is started to get goofy. Another message popped up saying the streaming was not available but several seconds later the stream came live followed by another message saying the satellite was back and if I wanted the satellite signal to press Select. All told, less than a minute. Clear as a bell so not weather related. Somebody trip over the extension cord and yank the plug out of the wall? Weird.

Pull the plug for real to re-boot.

Sounds like they had a momentary outage. The rx took note and said going to streaming, then couldn't immediately access it and so it reported it couldn't stream, but then it did acquire the stream but by then the sat outage was over, so it reported that and asked if you wanted to go back to sat. After, of course, it had gone to streaming without your OK....par for DiSH.

Are they training customers to use streaming? They might get the idea that they could dump DiSH and just do that...
