I recently had an issue with my desktop web icon short cuts. They defaulted to the blue explorer icon. I tried cleaning the browser and also reinstalled IE7 no dice. I finally started the computer in safe mode with networking and the problem disappeared.
Anyone else experience this problem? What did F8 do to cure this?
