We also have a pole mount. You might want to check the trees in the sightline on a nice clear day. I live in Wallingford and the storms this year have been crazier than normal. Outages can be a pain, but they've been minimal in the two years we've had Directv. I recommend Directv to all my friends who are still drinking Komkast Kool-Aid. Directv has better regular prices and I think, to my relatively untrained eye, better picture quality. Hope my suggestion with the tree sightline helps.
