Weather channel question

I wasn't sure if this belonged in the above thread , so to be sure, I just wanted to ask what is probably a stupid question but here goes. Judging by the screenshots from the previous thread, I am only getting a limited amount of info for my local weather. Just so I'm clear, is there a difference between pressing the interactive button on channel 362 when it is not on an 8 as opposed to doing it exactly on an 8 minute. Sorry if this seems obvious. Appreciate the help!

I'm pretty sure pressing the Interactive button shows the same thing at any time.

Local info screens should be coming up on their own at the 8's without you having to push any buttons.
