Almost a year ago.... http://www.satelliteguys.us/dish-ne...nch-easier-than-ever-access-weather-info.htmlI remember talk of them possibly getting it, and some frustration when it didn't happen.
I said this about Dish's implementation and I'll say it about DirecTV's: When they say "just like on cable", I believe they're targeting that comment towards people who've never seen TWC on cable, only heard that it offers "local" weather info. D*'s version looks nice, but it's not "just like on cable".Its not the same as Cable. Not any better then E* interactive weather channel either.

WHAT A WASTE OF TIME! IF I WANT TO CHECK MY LOCACAL WEATHER I USE MY COMPUTER.
PLEASE DON'T WASTE OUR TIME WITH THIS NONSENSE.
ADD SOME MORE NATIONAL HD. TRAVEL CHANNEL HD, FOX NEWS HD.
You're wasting your own time. Dont read this thread and dont waste our time by having us read your posts.
If you have so Constructive feed back for Directv and TWC on this please post it over SatGuys on this thread http://www.satelliteguys.us/directv-...-feedback.html
Thanks to all!
Does anyone know if the new interactive stuff on TWC also includes local alerts (like watches and warnings that pop up when in affect)? I think that would be great, and even a feature they could maybe let you enable no matter what channel you are watching, so you'll always know about severe weather, even if you're watching Animal Planet
