I don't feel quite so bad now that I see others are having difficulty with the RTN channels, too.
Some of you are speaking of the RTN or old RTN channels on 123W, I am having problems with the new channels (the RTN east and west feeds) on 83W AMC 9.
I have a thread going regarding that issue and I would like to invite anyone to enter comments there as well. It seems that many of us are fighting the same battle here.
I can get these RTN feeds to pop up once in a while. Doesn't seem to be affected by weather or season so much. Seems too random for me to find a pattern. The signal quality is so close to the threshold of my Coolsat 5000 receiver, it is out more than it is in.
My brother has an extremely better result with the same equipment. He is getting it in near 90% Q, whereas I can barely get 69% Q. Normally I see 66%.
