We will now be using an Online ID that will consist of your email address??

Ok so I have 2 accounts with different user Id's and the same email how is dish going to merge these two? I hope I can manage both accounts with the same log in? I am getting pretty frustrated with pay tv and nothing ever good on. I am considering canceling both of my accounts one is on contract 3 more months whats the cancel fee per month left?

I have a dvr on one account and pay almost $2 just in taxes recently I am looking forward on being liberated on pay tv its literally $150+ a month down the drain soo many commercials the dvr can only do so much for me sadly.

Sorry if this sounds like a rant but being with dish since 2004 I am least happiest with the current tv programming I have ever been. The newest shows suck and having viagra adds every commercial break is getting old skipping 10 times to pass a commercial break is too.

I remember a commercial break consisted of about 2-3 minutes now they are 8 minutes at times *TBS shame on you* anyways sorry to rant I am just tired of pay tv this will likely be my last post as a pay tv customer.

Easy sign up for a Gmail account and link one account to that free gmail account. Problem solved and no one has to reinvent the wheel.

You can still use your original ID to log on. I have multiple accounts tied to the same email address, and I use the ID, not the email.

In fact, if you attempt to log on with the email address, you will get a message that says there is more than one account with this email, please use the Online ID and try again.

This won't help with your displeasure with the programming content, but at least you can still log on to your accounts in the same way.

Dish screwed things up when they started the online ID. I have been using the same e-mail address with dish since day one, all of a sudden I could not log on. I ended up having to change my email with dish to a gmail account just to be able to log on...
