WDAF being acquired by Nexstar

Saw an FCC disclaimer while watching the news tonight. Says license is transfering from Tribune to Nexstar. Is this a good thing??

Only if you want different Sub Channels because none of Nexstar stations have Antenna TV,This TV,TBN that WDAF has at moment. Did you see it on Fox4kc?

Thanks and 9pm or 10pm. KRBK that's also owned by Nexstar has Movies and Heroes and Icons that's on KCMN here and IONTV.

Those subnets were launched on KRBK prior to the Nexstar acquisition of the station.....

Yes....when Nexstar bought Media General we received 3 subnets within a year's time frame (on KLFY in Lafayette, La)....Get/Ion/Laff....Get was launched before the buyout and Laff was launched after the buyout. I can see Nexstar dropping TBD and replacing it with GetTV, Court TV, or Quest. As for the Katz networks that Nexstar struck a deal with in 2016 well no need to worry about that Scripps owns the Katz networks which are on your local 38 and 41 dial's respectively....So with that your in good shape....I live in the Lafayette La market and Nexstar has done us well on KLFY....

Court TV 4.3 November when Tribune's contract with This TV is up. KPXE has IONTV and only if WDAF wants a second channel to put programming on. Antenna TV is also on KCKS-LD but a low power station.

Yes Sir. Your Channel 50 is included, however a few stations will be sold to EW Scripps like WSFL and Pix 11 New York after the Tribune and Nexstar deal is complete. I read that after our local ABC affiliate was sold to Scripps.

We have GetTV on KAJF but no Court TV as of yet-

It supposed to replace This on WDAF in November. That was announced when Court was launched on it's new Scripps stations like KATC.

My opinion I wish Scripps would have launched Escape, Cozi, or Bounce on KATC 3.4 instead of Court. Not trying to offend anyone....

KSHB has just Cozi TV and Laff TV. KMBC/KCWE/KCTV5/KSMOTV just one at moment.
