Wbif Univision

Haven't heard anything from anybody on this, but here in the Boilermaker State WBIF, the former WB 51 is speaking Spanish due to the fact that it is now Univision. Somebody posted a while ago that it was off the air for a day or so, this could have been the reason. Adios, amigos.

yep. Its KUWF, Univision for Wichita Falls, TX

It scans in as that (if you delete your channels)

Also, KDEV-LP (7th channel in 11799 mux) FINALLY says KDEV-LP and not KWBS

WBIF is still UPN but is only on C-band now (G3)

Okay....Yesterday I scanned in PBS on the 1080 and it was labeled as KUWF, odd.

KDEV-LP FINALLY says KDEV-LP and not KWBS

It showed an ID card as KDEV a long time ago, maybe 6 or 8 months, I've had it labeled as KDEV since I seen that.

I know that Jim but when you scanned it in, it would ID the channel in the channel list as KWBS (kind of like how Retro Jams still is labelled "The Tube TV"

I wish we could get Univision from some major cities, like Chicago or LA.....they run local new casts vs the national ones in Spanish, and have better reporting...pretty cool stuff.


Univision is great, except for the soap operas. Anytime I turn on any of the TVs, the channel is on Univision, and whenever I go to change the channel, TIVO won't let me unless I stop recording one of my wife's programs.

Damnit. This was not the point of getting UV!

Duh, I got you. I think it did say KWBS before I changed it.
