I'm looking for a way to watch HDTV on my PC using my cable box's firewire port.
The software I currently have only lets me capture the .ts stream.
Sure, I can watch the .ts stream after it is captured, but I'd really love to watch it live on my PC.
I have the Motorola DCT6200/1000 box provided by Time Warner Cable (Houston, Texas).
It it possible to accomplish this?
I have:
1GB of DDR400 memory in dual paging mode (4 x 256MB).
Windows XP Home.
Intel Pentium IV 2.60GHz HT cpu.
One 80GB IDE Hard Drive (Operating system and programs) NTFS.
Two 80GB SATA Hard Drives (For Video Capture) NTFS.
