I dropped this for a couple of days to see if I could get by with the Entertainment package. They wouldn't add Preferred Xtra back, because they said it was discontinued 1-6-20.
The 1st chat agent took my order, but it didn't go through. The 2nd chat said it was no longer being offered. After a lot of back and forth, the agent said there was a grace period until Jan. 21 with supervisor override.
I was finally able to get it added back. If you want this package, I suggest you contact them soon. My advice would be to forget the chat. Just call Directv and tell the automated system you want cancel all service. This should get you to a CSR who can help faster than what I went through with the chat.
