I was wanting to sell Dish Network Door to Door and with a Display at a local Supermarket

I have had the hardest time

I suppose something happened about 2 or 3 years ago

because where it says make $100.00 up per sign up in Door to Door sales for Dish

None of that works

And the ones that are still up - they dont email you back

I was able to finally sign up with a small satellite place a few towns over - which has smaller commissions and a tier thing

where you start off at $50.00 a sign up and then after so many you get to a higher number, until after so many you make $100.00 at the highest.

Is there any left that have Dish Affiliates ? that will actually sign you up at the Higher Commission ?

And is a REAL Business ?
(I ask that because I saw one place that seemed great yesterday, BUT they had no Location/Phone anything on their web site BUT they wanted your Bank account numbers etc etc etc - I passed on that one)

Hopeful

If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is... and this sounds too good to be true.

Ask any retailer out there there is no way to get rich selling satellite.

I dont really understand your reply

I want to pay my bills

working

Doing Sales

how is that to good to be true ?

Are you saying that cant be done with satellite ?

P.S.

If it is true , why is there a tag under your post selling Dish ?

Curious

You can make some decent money selling and making commissions but you'll need to work your butt off and sell a lot. Generally you won't make a ton of money selling Dish unless it's your own business and still it's not that great.

He's saying don't expect to get paid a lot. I've heard that some door to door sales people can make $100 per sale but don't expect to get that. I know there is a large group from Utah that travel and sell door to door. They hit our area every summer.

The low hanging fruit has already been picked. I don't know about your area of Texas but many cities around Dallas have restrictions about door to door sales. Last night CBS 11 had a news article about a local city having a DO NOT KNOCK ORDINANCE prohibiting leaving door knockers or actually knocking on peoples doors. Just about all cities around here require a permit to sell or solicit door to door.

I will go pay for a permit :)

P.S.

I am thinking more about having a Stand set up - I have a place picked out

than the Door to Door

Do yourself a big favor and go find a DISH Kisok and watch it for awhile then talk to the people working the booth.

Most kiosks don't make it past 3 months.

Again there is not much money to be made selling satellite. It not like it use to be.

Have you ever seen a Dish kiosk? I haven't. When I go to our big street festivals here, I see Direct sales booths but not Dish. I may be wrong but with the intense TV ads, I think most people who want Dish will deal with Dish directly.

If you are a salesman, there are always MANY sales jobs open, especially for insurance and other financial services. Perhaps you should look into that, or selling cars or traveling to different home shows hawking different products.

Now that you say that, I do see DirecTV sales booths (they may be in fact resellers - I don't give them more than a passing glance), but can't recall ever seeing one for Dish Network.

There are kiosks in malls and what-not that sell Dish .... alongside mobile phones, phone cases, and so on.

The last time I saw a Dish kiosk, the kind folks inside wanted to sell me DirecTV.
