Hi guys,
My name is Kay and I am new to this forum. I want to set up an FTA system in my house in MA, USA. I don't know much about satellite programs. I would appreciate your advice regarding:-
1/ The best FTA receiver for digital programs to buy. I learnt that new Coolsat 8100 is good but there is the rumor that coolsat 9000 will soon be released. Your comments are welcome.
2/ The best motorized dish for excellent reception
3/ What other things that I would need to buy for installation.
4/ The name of a expert company or person to install the equipment.
Thanks all.
Kay.

What channels are you looking to pickup?

The coolsat 8100 I don't think is even released so I don't know where you saw the review of it. (Maybe I missed the release of it) Edit: Yep, I guess it is released for pre-order. Kind of expensive for a beginner box.

Bigger the dish, the better, but around 90cm seems to be the best bang for the buck shipping and price wise if you aren't interested in C band stuff.

Sorry I can't recommend anyone or company specifically in your area that does FTA setups, but I will say that most of the fun of FTA is doing it yourself. It's a fun hobby.
