I am in very north ft worth and was between 38-44 miles from the cedar hill antenna farm so i wasnt sure what antenna to get. Went to radio shack and got the VU-90XR and 50 foot of good cable. So before i crawled up in the crawl space and get all nasty i thought i would see if it would even work. So i laid the antenna (still folded on the bed) not even aimed at the antennas and i pluged in the cable to the hr10-250 and bam nbc5i 93 signal, wfaa 95 signal, kdfw 91 signal. So i go through and what do i see every hd channel in the dfw metroplex, every single one and also a ardmore oklahoma channel that i cant get. So i go up into the crawl space and i just laid the antenna unfolded up the attic not attached to anything just laying there. And my signals on every hd channel are steady, the dont move at all. from what i can tell this antenna was the best choice.:up :up :up

good to know it worked great for you so we can suggest the antenna for other users if they were concerned about ordering other antennas online at a distance of about 30 miles and wanted to install inside.

to put things into perspective for everyone.

the VU-90XR worked fine here because all the stations were coded yellow at antenna web in a multi story home...keep in mind that there could be different results if you were coded red, blue or purple or if home construction materials were such that it could attenuate signals.

38-44 miles from towers? (from an earlier post of yours) - looks more like 28- 31 miles which is a BIG difference:rolleyes:
