Well, somebody has hijacked the webmaster because the homepage has a rather
ominous note posted:

http://www.voom.com/see_it/index.shtml

Yesterday it was conflicting internal memos. How does Dolan Sr. respond to
this latest development? Wouldn't it be good business for someone(anyone?)
at Voom to call their contracted call center to let them know what's up?

Confusing, to say the least, and pretty unprofessional.

So if that's true then the VOOM Web Master has gone nuts. They posted that "No new orders were being taken" and that "service would cease operation on March 31st."

Sounds like the current administration. Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. My advice, drink heavily and watch VOOM.

I'm not even going to bother trying to call their CS until a few days
and more website changes occur. In fact, I'm not sure I even have their
phone number anywhere anymore. ;) If anyone does find out anything
about us poor contract bearing folks and have useful info to pass along,
please let us know. I doubt anything definitive will be known for a while.

I also expect, that Voom will sell off their customers to some other
provider which might mean we have to end our contract with the new
provider or something. I haven't bothered to read the contract since
signing up so I don't really know anything yet. I'll try to dig that up
tonight and see if there is anything relevant.
