I think it would be interesting to know how Voom user are setup
on the following:
1)DVI or Component video output
2)Video resolution - Auto or Fixed(which 720P,1080i)
3)Diplexer(single coax) or no diplexer(two coax) to dish/ant
4)Television make and resolution
When you started service would be interesting also.

Mine:
DVI
Fixed 720P
No diplexer(two coax)
Pioneer Elite PDP 1110HD Plasma with a native res of 768

Thanks

1. Component
2. Fixed 1080i
3. No diplexer.....no OTA reception either.....towers 15 miles away and visible from my roof
4. Daewoo DSC34W70N 34 inch CRT widescreen. Will only accept 1080i on digital input

Component, switching to DVI Saturday (new STB)
Fixed 1080i
no diplexer, getting OTA from 120 miles away, honest

Voom since day one, 11/4/03.

Component
No Diplexor
ChannelMaster 4228
1080i fixed

I have been looking at that antenna.

How far out are you? I am halfway between Milwaukee and Chicago, (both are about 45 miles away) and I was wondering if it would be possible to pick up stations from both areas with that antenna. Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks.

1)Component
2)Video resolution - Fixed 1080i
3)Two R6G cables, no diplexer

1. DVI
2. Fixed 1080i
3. Diplexer

Waiting on VOOM to come out with another better OTA attenna. Then I should have 2 seperate lines.

Component video output ***Installed DVI/HDMI cable 4/2
Fixed 1080i resolution
No diplexer, OTA on Voom supplied Stealth
Pioneer PDP4340HD set at 1080i (and it's GREAT)
Satellite backfeed to LG 17" LCD monitor and Mitsubishi SDTV via cable
(all run on one STB)
Vooming since 12/31/2003

***4/2 plugged in the DVI/HDMI cable and can easily switch between component and HDMI. HDMI gives better picture on HD channels, but sometimes overpowers SD.

This is a good thread but I think it will help you guys can go back and state brand of HDTV and what is the native resolution of the receiver. There seems to be a problem with the receiver outputting 720p with the Samsung DLP (native resolution 720p). I wonder if there other models who's native resolution is 720p and are having the same problem. So if you can go back and use the edit option to enter brand of HDTV and native resolution of your display. Thanks.

Will NE1 post their OTA signal level please?
