Voom Questions

I was interested in possibly purchasing a voom box from ebay and installing it myself with an old Directv or Dish Network Dish. I have installed both of the other services and am quite capable. Question: because I want to do it all myself, will I get a run around? Will there be activation fees?

Also, do you have to have a phone line plugged in at all times. For the FTA tuner to work, does the system have to be activated?

VOOM will NOT activate any the receiver. It has to be purchased from them or an authorized dealer.

don't waste your money cause all you will end up with is a book end cause voom will not active.
