[VOOM] Many Questions

I E-mailed Echostar about the "transition".
Questions: Is DISH broadcasting at 61.5 also? Is it going to be MPEG 2 or
4? Can we reuse our dishes and LNBs? Do we have to buy the whole enchilada
to get our old 10 channels? Is there a special VOOMERS "Welcoming" package.
When does this all start? I also wonder if Wilt was part of the deal? Stan

Good to hear from you Wilt. Thought we had lost you.

Sorry that Voom didn't live on... You were a SUPER help to many during the
process. We will be sad to not have you with us anymore. Good luck in the
future with Cablevision and any new endeavors,

Eric

Well, we at least know Mr. Hildenbrand is alive and well, and working to keep our old channels alive and well, even though it's through a new venue.
Thanks, Wilt!
I want to say that the magic of VOOM was not just the number of channels in the best HD splendor but also the unique content or mix of channels.
I'm glad DISH seems to feel the same way and I can't help but think that Wilt's philosophy had some part in that. I am also of the opinion that the "Two Charlies" had a common goal in ushering us and the VOOM content over to DISH.
