[VOOM] Long Wait

Maybe the Software Upgrade blew out my VOOM Box? It's worked fine since the
initial April install.
Install, Inc earliest opportunity to come out is August 9th.
So these guys are busy installing lots of new VOOM or there are a lot of
Service Calls or there is a shortage of Mot STBs.
The box indicates no signal. It's either the box or the LNB.

Hey Stan, Rick in MV here..

How many STBs do you have? Do you have a combiner to allow the sat and ota signals to come in the house on one cable? I do and I found that it would sometimes knock out my signal. I bypassed it and I got my sat signal back. I scrapped OTA for a while. It might be a short term fix.

Thanks, Rick. I have no splitters, combiners, etc. And I have no OTA as I'm going to install a long range antenna on my existing mast and rotor. So a real simple installation with nothing added. Also an instant failure so it's got to be the receiver or Mot STB. Nothing else is in the system. Thanks. Stan in San Diego
