That's exactly as it is supposed to sound. SD is 2 channel stereo or just mono.

Voom does not broadcast any locals via satellite. However, with the free OTA antenna, you will be able to pull all of the free local HD channels without having to pay for or install the antenna yourself like you would with Dish/DirectTV.Does Voom have the Standard local channels Directv has?
I guess I don't understand the question. What costs $500? Are you maybe referring to the purchase option instead of the lease option?They say the equipment is free, Why is it that it costs 500 bux?
Lastly, Is Voom better than DirectTv or disnetowork for an average non premium subscriber like myself?It depends what you're looking for. If you want to receive HD channels, then Voom is a great option. If you want more channels in general, not caring much about the HD channels, then it might not be.
