Medicine Woman

At the heart of this series is Dr. Daniele Behn-Smith, a 27 year-old family physician of First Nations lineage. A graduate of the prestigious medical program at McMaster University, Dr. Behn-Smith has been practicing among Canada’s indigenous population, where she has developed a deep interest in the intersection between western medical knowledge and the ancient wisdom and medical practices of tribal elders. With each episode, she heads to a different part of the globe to learn how native healers successfully use the many medicines growing in the world around them. In her travels, Dr. Behn-Smith exposes a vast array of ancient healing traditions, and challenges viewers –and herself– to rethink core beliefs about traditional medicine and the very meaning of healing itself.

Aperture
New series premieres August 21st, Tuesdays at 10:00pm ET
Aperture explores the work of great living masters in the field of photography and features a notable celebrity paired with them as they experience the magnificent art first hand. The celebrity host spends a day in the studio or out in the field with the photographer to get a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse of what it takes to get a timeless shot. Beautiful, tragic, humorous and haunting, these photographers produce powerful photographs which are undeniable and demand audience participation. Over the course of the series, Aperture pairs celebrities like Rosario Dawson with acclaimed photographer Catherine Chalmers, Drea de Matteo with photographer/filmmaker Laurie Simmons and David Byrne with photographer Vik Muniz.
Dead Art
New series premieres August 29th, Wednesdays at 8:30pm ET
With breathtaking architecture, views to die for, and A-list residents, this place might seem like a trendy neighborhood. But, with a death certificate needed to enter, this is no up and coming gated community. Dead Art uncovers the intrigue and beauty behind some of the most famous cemeteries around the world, their famous occupants, and the mysterious art that intrigues visitors. Each of the ten episodes features a different cemetery, revealing the history, the architecture, and the incredible art that is shared with the dead. This unique series is hosted by Dee Snider, best known as the front man of the American hard rock band Twisted Sister.

Whether you missed an episode during the season, or if you are new to the series, FAMILY ROOM HD presents a two-day marathon of the original teen series The Latest Buzz. In the series, Teen Buzz, a struggling youth-oriented magazine, decides to replace its staff with actual teens selected through an essay-writing contest. The winners, five students from a progressive high school, are given an amazing opportunity to work at the publication. Instead of being in class, the students spend the last period of the day at the posh offices of Teen Buzz. Follow Rebecca, Michael, Noah, Amanda and Wilder as they are thrown together in this new experience and try to learn about the fast-paced world of publishing, all while living the fast-paced life of a teenager.
RUSH HD—Life on the edge with the adrenaline junkies of adventure sports
Metro BMX Jam
New three-part series premieres August 31st, Fridays at 9:00pm ET
Rush HD presents coverage of the Metro BMX Jam, a two-day event that brought more than 40 of the best international athletes to the Somerset Skate Park in Singapore. Originating from the United States, BMX (bicycle moto-cross) is a form of competitive cycling involving jumps and freestyle tricks. Envisioned by six-time World Champion and nine-time X-Game medal winner Jay Miron, the Metro BMX Jam is one of the top events in the BMX world. Breaking new international ground for the sport, the Metro BMX Jam was held in Singapore for the first time. This made for television event had riders competing for a $20,000USD purse. The event includes competition between super-stars Josh Harrington (USA), Gary Young (USA), Dave Mirra (USA), Ryan Nyquist (USA), Ryan Guettler (Australia) and Dave Osato (Canada). Enjoy the first of three, hour-long, episodes premiering on Friday, August 31st at 9:00pm ET.

New season premieres August 24th, Fridays at 9:00pm ET
Beautiful Noise isback for an all-new season featuring up-and-coming musical artists, along with established ‘hidden gems’. Each one-hour episode is filmed in front of a live studio audience in a dramatically lit, converted gothic-style church. The series gives viewers a chance to discover the featured artists' music, and to learn a little about them as well. The season kicks off with Alt-metal band, Finger Eleven. Other upcoming shows include performances and interviews with Ben Kweller, Stars of Track and Field, The Long Winters, Sloan, The Ponys and Voxtrot.
TREASURE HD—The first channel for the 70 million people with a passion for collecting
Treasure Divers
New series premieres August 19th, Sundays at 12:00pm ET
Treasure Divers is the first high-defintion television series to provide an inside look at the little known and rarely filmed world of underwater treasure excavation. Throughout the series, shipwreck treasure historian Captain Carl ‘Fizz’ Fismer and dive instructor Captain Gary Mace will troll a host of underwater wrecks in search of riches, both monetary and historic. Traveling in research and recovery vessels, Fismer and Mace will visit various wreck sites throughout the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico.
