Hello, This is a repost of a question. This time with pics.
Here is the 30 inch dish that I have from my old Voom service. I undertand I need to take the DPLnb off my dish 1000 after they install it in April with my 622. I am going to go ahead and let them setup the 1000 to all 3 birds then when they leave want to move the 129 LNB to my old big Voom dish for max signal here in Seattle. I know it will be great as I never had rain fade when I went to this higher gain dish.

I plan on ordering the "I" adapter from dishstore. Then want to put it on this dish. Is this the best way to do it? ANy help would be apprieciated
Thanks

NO!

An I-beam will NOT work with that dish unlss you cut the arm down so that the new LNB is at the same distance from the pan as the old one is.

Thanks I found one of those LBNF's (single feed) on Ebay. Think I will have them leave my dish 500 and install the 1000. When they leave I will aim the dish 1000 at only 119-110 and move 129 to dish 500. When I get rectangle Lnbf I will move 129 to my 30 inch voom dish. This is if you all think that 119-110 will be better left on the dish 1000 vs. dish 500 dish.
Thanks for your help!

Is it a DishPro or legacy LNB? The ones I saw on eBay with the rectangular mount looked like legacy.

rec'd 622, up & running, no problems...

Do they take your old dish and lnbs when upgrading
