Oh come on guys! Voom picture is not bad. I have a 65 inch Toshiba and even SD is watchable on most channels except for football. Since seeing a football game in HD, I cannot watch SD football any longer. Voom is a lot better than the SD pictures. You guys are just pissed! Get over it and get on with your lives, It is just TV.
My eyes pop from the pain of seeing Voom and from me pulling my pants up after a good rogering by Charlie and company

Cable === Cablevision and I won't go there yet.
C-Band not an option. So where should I move Dragon? Do you have an HDTV?

Gary , from what I have read here and elsewhere , the Voom hd lite resolution is due to a fiber back haul problem, that they will be fixing in the near future. Somewhere between now and 5 months . So by summertime the Voom channels are going to be back up to full hd in mpeg4. So it is not something that Charlie and company are doing to you and the rest of us that like full hd resolution. So relax and give it time , and it will be resolved. IF you don't see it back to full resolution by summer then you can really start bitching about the picture. It is still better resolution then the sd channels and should be better than dvd quality.
I think Dragon is telling you to get rid of your HDTVs and step back down to SD along with the other three-quarters of the TV watching world. Why he is posting in a HDTV forum when he has no desire to own anything HD is mystery.Sean Mota said:

sit back and watch directv and enjoy until they have the bandwidth, they are trying. it WILL get better.

Wrong again! I already have OTA. I couldn't watch the HD Lite HDTV HD Local channels on DirecTv. They are a disgrace.

It is not a mystery. This is the same dragon of the Voom DBS days who spent so much time telling us that his DirecTv HD was better than VOOM HD. This is the same dragon who is/was a DirecTv dealer and who has a special interest in convincing everyone here that the HDTV on Dish Network is the worse and that DirecTv provides the best HDTV in the whole world. I hope you guys read between the lines in his posts. :devil:
