vonage phone dialing 866-366-8634 (How to make it stop?)

11-20-10 ever since we had Dish HD installed ( a week ago), our vonage phone keeps dialing this fax number 866-366-8634. Anyone know how to make it STOP?

Old thread, but maybe still applicable to you? The Dish receiver is trying to "phone home" to Dish, and send diagnostic logs to them. You could simply unplug the phone line from the receiver.

If you do an internet search for the telephone number 866-366-8634 you will find many, many links about your problem. It apparently is a VOIP problem that also affects Vonage.

You could simply disconnect the satellite receiver from your phone line, and if available, connect an Ethernet broadband connection to your receiver.

I have Vonage and my Vip DVRs have no problem Dialing 8663637172.
