Von Weise Motor Replacement

I am trying to restore an old von weise actuator. I got a new motor from ebay. I don't know how to separate the rod from the motor. Please help.

Not all are the same. I just did one last week. An older VonWeise with an optical sensor that had a worn acme nut. I had a rebuilt arm with a new acme nut and screw ready to go but the way the screw attached to the motor was different on the rebuilt arm. The one I was fixing had a roll pin connection to the motor shaft. So I unscrewed the acme shafts and switched them and all worked fine.
