VOD not working

Directv's VOD stopped working. I get the message do you want to purchase the channel selected ? This happens on all channels not just Premiums. I called them and they said that their engineers knew about the problem and were working on it. Could this be related to the roll out of the VOD for new release movies ? Or, just hardware problems.
 
I assume you did a restart on the DVR?
And also rebooted the router?
Did you run the network check?
What model DVR?
And did it get a new firmware version?
 
Yes I did all that. I called and the CSR he told me it was a known problem and their engineers were working on it. He said it was affecting more customers than just me.
