Is there a priority that the reciever takes on if it uses the ethernet or homeplug for the internet connection. I have a homeplug device plugged into my router but my ethernet is faster and I would rather the 722 use that instead of the homeplug. If I set a different password on the homeplugs, then the 722 couldn't connect to them, right? Would that be the best way to ensure that the 722 wouldn't use the homeplug?

I found that if you have both the ethernet cable plugged in and homeplug the receivers will use the homeplug. Your solution is correct change the password to something other than "homeplug" and you will be OK.

I even have the 722 plugged into a surge protector, but it seems its letting jut a little bit of network through. So that makes it worse. I am trying to use the sling adapter and its not working great with the 722 homeplug, even when plugged directly into the wall.

besides red zone, what is the point of the sports pack?
